Our ART START volunteers are the life-blood of this organization. They give more than just their time, they give a piece of who they are, their creativity, their skills, and their hearts. Our volunteers are a community of people from all walks of life consciously engaged in connecting to the city’s most at-risk youth through the arts. They are dedicated to the importance of the exposure to music and art as a valuable component to their development and education. From our piano, percussion, string and lyric writing workshops to our Hip-Hop & music production program, and our enriching art classes, our volunteers strive to light a spark in our kids that will benefit them well after their time with us. Our volunteers’ main goal is simple and our mission is clear: connect with the kids because art saves lives.
