Free, Ages 14 - 24

Join us in celebrating all things spooky in the spookiest of szns on Wednesday, October 15th, 4:30pm-7pm, at Art Start! Show up, get spooky with us, make some art, snack, and socialize... if you dare!

This month, we will be holding another "Quick, draw!" as a fun, fast-acting, arts challenge to get everyone in the Halloween spirit! The night will have multiple spooky, creepy, crawly, hauntingly, occult and super natural themes throughout the night. Everyone will have a time limit to quickly conceptualize, create, and complete a new tiny piece of art in interpretation of each theme in that set amount of time. We'll open the floor at the end of the night for walking around and checking out everyone's pieces. Keep in mind that "Quick, draws" are for fun and getting those creative juices flowing, over perfection, and are great for anyone going through a mental block.

Art Start will provide an assortment of art supplies, including an assortment of tiny canvases and paint, to use for your pieces. Bring your friends, network & socialize with other young creatives, and get ready for this freeform artistic duel of the spookiest variety.

Art Start monthly Creative Sessions are free, open to all youth & young adults (ages 14-24), and have hands-on art making opportunities, music, snacks, and socializing among fellow young creatives. RSVPs are strongly encouraged to guarantee everyone snacks and supplies but walk-ins are always welcome!
