About The Program:

Summer Interns will establish and expand foundational creative and professional skills, exploring creative industries, institutions, and opportunities. Additionally, interns will explore and support the design, development, and execution of Art Start summer projects, specifically the coordination, curation, installation, and activation of Art Start's Summer Showcase. The exhibition will premiere and activate at Art Start's NYC Studio.

Interns will also develop their creative process portfolio/lookbook, business cards, and resumes; participate in special networking opportunities, and participate in career and culture exploration around NYC.

Interns will also have access to college readiness with Art Start’s Academic Advisor and youth mental health resources and interventions, under guidance of Art Start staff and licensed social workers specializing in teen and young adult education and workforce development.
